family, relationship, individual, grief, addiction. To obtain help contact me
through the Exp.com site and I will offer you common sense approach to solving
issues and resources for you to use.
When you contact me, please try to think
clearly and state the specific problem or problems you are having.
Information as far as symptoms, the situation which cause or causes your
problem, any medication, if involved in any support groups or being seen by a
counselor, etc... The more information you give me, the better I can help.
If you feel that you are in danger from
yourself or someone else, feeling that you may hurt yourself or others, please
go to your closest hospital and let them assist you with your problems.
Counseling via the internet cannot nor should not preclude you from seeking
professional help where you live.
No counselor can give you all the answers,
for most of them are within you. What counseling consists of is helping
you discover the problems & the answers within yourself. Some mental disorders are cause
by chemical imbalances within your body and require medication intervention,
this is why some people must seek local professional assistance.
There is no reason to be ashamed of having
any kind of mental illness, it the same as having high blood pressure. The
Stigma that was once associated with mental health is far less than it once was
and there are Federal laws which govern the way you are treated by businesses
and your employer.
The first step towards recovery is first
admitting you may have a problem, if you are reading this page then you have taken
the first tentative step in the right direction.
Grief and depression are to be expected
with a sudden death or other personal tragedy or sudden life change. Words
of encouragement and support via this site, a local counselor and you friends
can help you through these trying times.
Help is only a e-mail or phone call away!
